Leave of Absence from work (and rain)
Mary’s Peak from Hwy-99 heading south with Corvallis in the rear-view mirror. “See y’all in a year.”

Goodbye Charlie
We were pretty sure that customs would give us trouble if we tried to bring Charlie to the USA, so we left him on this fence post of a vineyard in Baja Norte.
Here’s a map link of where we’re been so far.
I’ve organized the trip legs into “Pages” links to the left –>

P.S. I am adding things to the old postings.

Hey guys, sounds like you are having fun, the seinery sounds beautiful too. I’m jealous. We will be in San Fran Nov. 9th & 10th leaving the 11th for Santa Rosa til the 14th. Then we will be heading to Boston for 5 days. Call or email if you are in the area and let us know if a visit would work. Keep having fun and love your blog.

Send me a postcard or two; better yet stop in Illinois on your wanderings.

Heather and Grady,
Appears your blog-world stopped in December. So what’s new? We trust you are still well and learning to speak the local language. I assume you will be coming north this month and heading east. We just returned from a few days in Tucson for the sun and canyon hiking. Even took in a spring training baseball game. We will likely visit VA mid next month. Buenos noches. Gary
